-Any amount can be used to make a fixed deposit
-The deposit could be made for 3, 6 or 12 months
-The customer has the option to roll over
-No penal rate is charged for early withdrawal
-The interest rate applicable is a maximum of 3 % above prevailing treasury bill rate
-The fixed deposit could be used as collateral for credit facility
