How to apply for a Diaspora Service

ACCOUNT OPENING PROCESS

• Prospective customer completes and submits an account opening form on-line
• Filled account opening forms and required documents are scanned by applicant Applicant submits completed application form and required documents on-line or courier to FNSL Diaspora Services Centre Accra. Tel. 233-20 222 0447
• Applicant makes the initial deposit for account opening by money transfer or through other arrangements
• In the future, deposits to FNSL account could be made through first national account with a US bank - bank abroad would then advise FNSL Ghana daily of all such deposits
• On receipt of application details, FNSL Ghana will:

• scrutinizes application form & docs to ensure compliance
• open accounts and credit amounts to accounts so opened within 24 hours on receipt of funds
• confirm account opened and advise customer of account number within 48 hours

NOTE: Account holder can now operate account using password and communication with diaspora coordinator
